  1. Oversee the daily operations of the academic department, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and responding to inquiries from students, faculty, and staff.
  2. Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the academic department by developing and implementing processes and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with department chairs and faculty to develop and maintain academic programs that align with the university's mission and goals.
  4. Manage the department budget, including tracking expenses, preparing financial reports, and making budget recommendations.
  5. Supervise and mentor administrative staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of department activities, including student enrollment, faculty evaluations, and curriculum changes.
  7. Serve as a liaison between the academic department and other university departments, such as admissions, financial aid, and facilities.
  8. Participate in strategic planning initiatives to enhance the academic department's performance and contribute to the university's overall success.
  9. Stay informed about trends and developments in higher education and make recommendations for improving department operations and processes.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the department.
  11. Facilitate communication and collaboration between faculty and staff to ensure the timely completion of departmental projects and initiatives.
  12. Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain the highest level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
  13. Represent the academic department at university events and conferences, promoting the department's achievements and building relationships with external stakeholders.
  14. Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the department chair or university administration.

Job Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree In Higher Education Administration Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A University Setting.
