- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Conduct routine inspections of warehouse facilities to identify and address any potential safety hazards or maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with warehouse equipment, escalating to management as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on warehouse equipment.
- Communicate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure equipment is functioning properly and any issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and supplies for warehouse equipment and coordinate ordering as needed.
- Assist with setting up and organizing new warehouse facilities, including installation and assembly of equipment.
- Train and mentor new warehouse employees on proper handling and maintenance of equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and technology advancements related to warehouse equipment maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet maintenance and repair deadlines.

- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and ethics.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Warehouse Facilities Technician At Geodis Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Experience In Facility Maintenance: Candidates Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Facility Maintenance, Including Knowledge Of Electrical, Plumbing, Hvac, And General Building Repairs.
Strong Technical Skills: The Role Requires Proficiency In Using Various Tools And Equipment For Repairs And Maintenance. Candidates Should Be Able To Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues Efficiently.
