Job Description

Welcome to GEODIS, a leading supply chain and logistics company. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team for the upcoming seasonal period. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of goods to our customers.   1. Receive and process incoming stock and materials according to company procedures and standards.
  2. Count and verify inventory levels to ensure accurate stock levels at all times.
  3. Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  4. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, including shelving, aisles, and workstations.
  5. Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
  6. Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks, ensuring all items are properly secured.
  7. Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to management immediately.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  9. Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly targets and deadlines.
  10. Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and contribute to a positive work environment.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  12. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior Warehouse Experience: A Successful Warehouse Associate - Seasonal At Geodis Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Warehouse Environment. This Includes Knowledge Of Warehouse Processes, Equipment, And Safety Protocols.

  • Physical Fitness: This Job Requires Physical Stamina, As Warehouse Associates Are Responsible For Lifting And Moving Heavy Objects. Candidates Should Be Able To Lift Up To 50 Pounds And Stand For Extended Periods Of Time.

  • Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial In A Warehouse Setting To Ensure Inventory Is Properly Received, Stored, And Shipped. Warehouse Associates Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Avoid Costly Mistakes.

  • Team Player: As Part Of A Warehouse Team, It Is Important For A Warehouse Associate To Work Well With Others And Communicate Effectively. This Includes Following Directions, Collaborating On Tasks, And Maintaining A Positive Attitude.

  • Availability For Flexible Hours: Working In A Warehouse Often Requires A Flexible Schedule, Including Evenings And Weekends. Candidates Should Be Willing To Work Outside Of Traditional Business Hours To Meet The Demands Of The Job.
