  1. Develop and implement transportation plans and strategies to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods to clients.
  2. Monitor and optimize transportation operations, including routing, scheduling, and load planning.
  3. Collaborate with various departments, including warehouse, operations, and sales, to ensure alignment of transportation plans with overall business objectives.
  4. Analyze transportation data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  5. Maintain strong relationships with carriers and negotiate favorable rates and terms.
  6. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and laws.
  7. Communicate with clients to provide updates on transportation schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
  8. Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and maintain accurate records.
  9. Train and supervise junior transportation planners.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve transportation processes.
  11. Identify and address any potential transportation risks or disruptions.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for new transportation services.
  13. Prepare and present transportation reports to management.
  14. Maintain a high level of customer service by proactively addressing any transportation-related concerns or complaints.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Transportation Planning, Preferably In The Logistics Industry.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, Logistics, Or Related Field.

  • Proficiency In Transportation Planning Software And Tools, Such As Arcgis, Transcad, And/Or Cube.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Develop And Implement Transportation Strategies.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Transportation Regulations And Laws, With The Ability To Ensure Compliance.
