If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Recruiting Coordinator - SEASONAL at GEODIS. As a global logistics and supply chain management company, GEODIS is seeking a motivated and driven individual to support our recruitment efforts during our busy season. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying and attracting top talent to join our team.   1. Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent for seasonal positions within GEODIS.
  2. Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  3. Conduct phone and in-person interviews with potential candidates to assess qualifications and fit for open positions.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and ensure all necessary documentation is obtained.
  5. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide timely updates on the recruitment process.
  6. Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to source and identify potential candidates.
  7. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork and pre-employment checks are completed.
  8. Act as a point of contact for candidates and provide timely and professional communication throughout the recruitment process.
  9. Assist with organizing and attending recruitment events, such as job fairs and campus recruiting initiatives.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  11. Proactively identify areas for improvement in the recruitment process and make recommendations for streamlining and efficiency.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to ensure GEODIS remains competitive in the market.
  13. Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  14. Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed to support the high-volume recruitment needs.
  15. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication Skills: A Successful Recruiting Coordinator At Geodis Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Candidates And Hiring Managers, As Well As The Ability To Draft Clear And Concise Job Postings And Other Recruitment Materials.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Recruiting Coordinator, Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Order To Accurately Review And Screen A High Volume Of Resumes, Schedule Interviews, And Ensure All Necessary Paperwork And Documentation Is Completed.

  • Organizational Skills: The Ability To Effectively Manage Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Responsibilities Is Essential For A Recruiting Coordinator At Geodis. This Includes Coordinating Schedules For Interviews, Managing Applicant Tracking Systems, And Maintaining Accurate Recruitment Records.

  • Team Player: The Role Of A Recruiting Coordinator Requires Collaboration And Teamwork With Hiring Managers, Hr Representatives, And Other Members Of The Recruitment Team. A Successful Candidate Must Be Able To Work Well With Others And Contribute Positively To The Overall Recruitment Process.

  • Familiarity With Hr And Recruitment Processes: Previous Experience In Hr Or Recruitment Is Preferred For This Role. A Strong Understanding Of Recruitment Best Practices, As Well As Knowledge Of Hr Systems And Software, Will Be Beneficial In Effectively Carrying Out The Responsibilities Of A Recruiting Coordinator At Geodis.
