Procurement Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Procurement Specialist to join GEODIS and help ensure efficient and timely procurement of goods and services. You’ll be part of a dynamic team and play an essential role in the company’s supply chain operations. To be successful, you should have a strong understanding of the procurement process, experience in negotiating contracts and a keen eye for detail. You should also be an excellent communicator and problem solver with strong organizational and time-management skills. Responsibilities:

1. Source goods and services for GEODIS in a timely and cost-effective manner.
2. Develop and implement effective strategies for procuring goods and services.
3. Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
4. Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality of goods and services.
5. Maintain up-to-date records and documentation of procurement activities.
6. Communicate and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
7. Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
8. Analyze market trends and make recommendations on inventory levels and pricing.
9. Resolve supplier related issues in a timely manner.
10. Monitor and analyze market conditions to identify potential new suppliers.
