Logistics Coordinator

The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We require at least two years of experience in a similar role, a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, and strong computer proficiency. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor all logistics activities, ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and in accordance with GEODIS’s standards.
2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations and increase cost savings.
3. Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods.
4. Negotiate with suppliers and other vendors to secure the best rates and services.
5. Monitor shipments to ensure that they arrive at their destination on time and in good condition.
6. Analyze logistics data to identify trends and issues, and devise solutions.
7. Liaise with customers to provide updates and information regarding their orders.
8. Prepare and submit regular reports to management summarizing logistics activities.
9. Remain updated on industry trends and developments and suggest new solutions.
10. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
