At GEODIS, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is an integral part of our supply chain and logistics operations. The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We require at least two years of experience in a similar role, a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, and strong computer proficiency. Responsibilities:
- Monitor all logistics activities, ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and in accordance with GEODIS’s standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations and increase cost savings.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Negotiate with suppliers and other vendors to secure the best rates and services.
- Monitor shipments to ensure that they arrive at their destination on time and in good condition.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends and issues, and devise solutions.
- Liaise with customers to provide updates and information regarding their orders.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management summarizing logistics activities.
- Remain updated on industry trends and developments and suggest new solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
