Job Description

At GEODIS, our Fleet Managers are the key players in ensuring our freight transportation services run safely, efficiently, and within our company's standards. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about being part of a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet and logistics operations with a proven ability to manage teams, coordinate the day-to-day operations of the fleet, and ensure that all safety and compliance regulations are followed. In addition, the successful candidate will possess strong problem solving and communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the fleet and ensure safety and compliance regulations are followed
  • Manage and motivate a team of fleet and logistics staff
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Monitor and analyze fleet performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement solutions
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and serviced
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Research and develop new processes and procedures to ensure efficient operations
  • Create reports and analyze data to track performance and identify trends
  • Monitor and coordinate staff scheduling and time management
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and manage budgets and maintain accurate records of fleet expenses
