Greetings! GEODIS is looking for a talented and dynamic Customs Broker to join our team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise to help facilitate the import and export of goods on behalf of our customers.This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for international trade and a drive to help customers navigate the complexities of customs regulations. As a Customs Broker at GEODIS, you will be responsible for handling a range of import and export activities, including preparing and filing documentation, verifying accuracy, and tracking shipments.To be successful in this role, you will need to have an in-depth understanding of customs regulations and the ability to think quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively.We are looking forward to hearing from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and file customs documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
  2. Verify accuracy of documentation and data.
  3. Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  4. Ensure compliance with customs regulations and other international trade laws.
  5. Develop strategies to minimize costs and delays associated with the import/export process.
  6. Manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction with the services provided.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and international trade law.
  8. Identify and resolve discrepancies with customs declarations.
  9. Liaise with other stakeholders, such as freight forwarders and government agencies.
  10. Provide advice and guidance to customers on customs regulations and other trade-related matters.
