Job Description

At GEODIS, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager who will be responsible for developing and driving effective solutions that will improve operational performance and increase customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have the necessary qualifications to ensure the successful execution of our customer service initiatives and will have an upbeat and energetic personality to bring new ideas and foster creative problem solving.The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of leading and managing continuous improvement projects, along with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions. They will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, plus at least five years of experience in a managerial role. Experience in Lean/Six Sigma or other continuous improvement initiatives is highly preferred. The ideal candidate should also have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to engage and motivate cross-functional teams. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement and manage continuous improvement processes, strategies and initiatives.
  2. Lead and motivate cross-functional teams towards achieving operational performance and customer service targets.
  3. Utilize Lean/Six Sigma and other continuous improvement tools to identify areas of improvement and develop innovative solutions.
  4. Track and measure progress made on projects and initiatives.
  5. Design and manage training programs to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills to be successful.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify customer service issues and develop effective solutions.
  7. Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Analyze customer feedback and develop strategies to address customer satisfaction issues.
  9. Monitor process and performance metrics to ensure goals and objectives are met.
  10. Prepare and present reports to senior management on project progress, initiatives, and performance.
