  1. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing and quality for products and services.
  2. Analyze and negotiate contracts with suppliers to optimize cost and delivery terms.
  3. Monitor market trends and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and anticipate supply chain needs.
  5. Create and maintain purchasing plans and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  6. Review and approve purchase orders and invoices.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all purchasing activities.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities.
  9. Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and management to resolve any issues or concerns.
  10. Continuously seek ways to improve supply chain processes and procedures.
  11. Participate in regular meetings and provide updates on purchasing activities.
  12. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
  13. Train and mentor junior purchasing staff, if applicable.
  14. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field

  • Previous Experience In Purchasing Or Procurement, Preferably In The Transportation Or Logistics Industry

  • Strong Negotiation Skills And Ability To Develop And Maintain Supplier Relationships

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Experience With Purchasing Software

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With A Keen Attention To Detail And Ability To Work With Large Amounts Of Data.
