Job Description

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive staff development program that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
  2. Assess the training needs of staff and develop training plans to address any knowledge or skill gaps.
  3. Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff on various topics related to clinical skills, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Mentor and coach new and existing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure staff development efforts are integrated into daily operations.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the staff development program and make necessary adjustments to meet the changing needs of the organization.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve the staff development program.
  8. Serve as a resource for staff, providing guidance and support in areas such as clinical skills, professional development, and career advancement.
  9. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and educational institutions to enhance staff development opportunities.
  11. Keep accurate records of staff training and certifications.
  12. Collaborate with human resources to ensure staff development efforts are aligned with employee performance and growth plans.
  13. Participate in the hiring process by assessing the training needs of potential candidates.
  14. Act as a liaison between management and staff, addressing any concerns or issues related to training and development.
  15. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to staff development and training.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Long-Term Care Or Rehabilitation.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Education And Training Programs For Healthcare Professionals.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Effectively Train And Mentor Staff.
