RN Weekend Supervisor

1. Lead and supervise nursing staff during weekend shifts, ensuring the highest level of care for residents.
2. Promote and uphold the mission of Genesis HealthCare to improve the lives of those we serve through high-quality healthcare and compassion.
3. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
4. Monitor and assess resident health status, providing appropriate interventions and treatments as needed.
5. Administer medications and perform other nursing tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care and progress.
7. Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting a positive and professional work environment.
8. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
9. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
10. Comply with all state and federal regulations, as well as Genesis HealthCare policies and procedures.
11. Serve as a role model for nursing staff, demonstrating compassion, professionalism, and dedication to quality care.
12. Act as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support in the absence of the Nurse Manager.
13. Proactively identify and address potential safety hazards and quality concerns, reporting them to appropriate personnel.
14. Maintain confidentiality and respect the rights and dignity of all residents.
15. Foster a positive and collaborative relationship with other healthcare team members to promote effective and efficient care delivery.
