Recreation Assistant

1. Plan and organize recreational activities for residents, taking into consideration their individual needs and preferences.
2. Assist in the implementation of various recreational programs, such as arts and crafts, music and dance, games, and outings.
3. Encourage and motivate residents to participate in recreational activities to promote their physical, social, and emotional well-being.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere during recreational activities, ensuring that all residents feel welcomed and included.
5. Maintain a clean and safe environment during all recreational activities, following all safety protocols and procedures.
6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a well-rounded and diverse range of recreational activities are available to residents.
7. Keep accurate records of participation and feedback from residents regarding recreational activities.
8. Continuously seek out new and innovative ideas to enhance the recreational programs offered to residents.
9. Assist in the setup and cleanup of recreational activities and events.
10. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other staff members to ensure the success of recreational programs.
11. Attend regular meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new ideas in the field of recreational therapy.
12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, in the planning and implementation of recreational activities.
13. Act as a positive role model for residents by promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
14. Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while interacting with residents, their families, and other staff members.
15. Continuously strive to create a fun and engaging atmosphere for residents to participate in recreational activities.
