- Greet and welcome all visitors, patients, and staff in a warm and professional manner.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, representing the organization in a positive light.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for patients and visitors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of appointments, patient information, and other administrative tasks.
- Handle and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Serve as a liaison between visitors, patients, and staff, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and privacy regulations.
- Handle any emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following proper protocols.
- Continuously strive to improve customer service and the overall patient experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Excellent Communication Skills: A Receptionist At Genesis Healthcare Must Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Visitors, And Staff Members.
Organizational Skills: This Position Requires A High Level Of Organization To Manage A Busy Reception Area, Handle Multiple Tasks, And Maintain Accurate Records.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Receptionist At Genesis Healthcare Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Medical Terminology To Assist With Patient Inquiries And Appointments.
Customer Service Experience: As The First Point Of Contact For Patients And Visitors, A Receptionist Should Have Previous Customer Service Experience And Be Able To Handle Inquiries And Concerns In A Professional And Empathetic Manner.
Computer Proficiency: The Ability To Use Computer Software Programs Such As Microsoft Office And Electronic Medical Record Systems Is Essential For Maintaining Accurate Records And Scheduling Appointments.
