
Nursing Unit Assistant

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the healthcare industry and a passion for providing excellent patient care.To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be reliable, organized, and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks. Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient care activities, such as bathing, feeding, and vital signs monitoring.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the nursing supervisor.
- Assist with the maintenance of medical records and other administrative tasks.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the nursing unit.
- Provide support to nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Answer patient inquiries and provide information about the healthcare facility.
- Assist with the transfer of patients to other areas of the facility.
- Maintain a compassionate and professional attitude when dealing with patients and their families.
- Follow all safety procedures and standards of care.
