- Ensure accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments and submissions.
- Monitor and track changes in patients' conditions and update care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to review and interpret patient data and make recommendations for appropriate care.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in Medicare and Medicaid regulations and implement any necessary updates to the MDS process.
- Serve as a resource for staff, providing guidance and education on MDS guidelines and processes.
- Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with MDS documentation.
- Communicate with insurance companies and government agencies to resolve any billing or reimbursement issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines when handling patient information.
