Maintenance Assistant

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team and help ensure our facilities are kept in excellent condition. The ideal candidate for this position is a detail-oriented problem solver who is able to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, fixtures, and structures. • Follow safety procedures and protocols when completing maintenance tasks. • Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance activities. • Monitor and inspect facility equipment and systems for safety and performance. • Monitor and replenish supplies and materials for maintenance activities. • Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner. • Provide excellent customer service to facility staff and visitors. • Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to ensure all equipment is in working order. • Follow up on any unresolved maintenance issues. • Participate in facility improvement projects as needed. • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
