Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant at Genesis HealthCare to join our team and help us maintain our facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will be an integral part of our organization and play a key role in ensuring our facility is clean, safe, and efficient. To excel in this role, the ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for detail work. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance or general labor role, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift at least 50lbs. Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the facility by performing daily maintenance tasks.
2. Ensure that all areas of the facility are kept clean and efficient.
3. Identify and report any safety issues to the Maintenance Manager.
4. Perform general labor tasks such as carrying heavy objects, painting, and other manual labor tasks as needed.
5. Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
6. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems and malfunctions.
7. Test and inspect equipment and systems to ensure they are in proper working order.
8. Monitor and order supplies and replacement parts as needed.
9. Adhere to all safety regulations and policies.
10. Maintain a neat and organized work area.
