  1. Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and support staff, to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to residents.
  2. Oversee day-to-day operations of the nursing home facility, including staffing, budgeting, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of residents and staff.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and the community to ensure open communication and satisfaction with the care provided.
  5. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including those related to resident care, employee conduct, and facility operations.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff members, providing coaching and feedback as needed to maintain a high level of professionalism and quality of care.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and therapists, to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
  8. Manage and maintain the financial health of the facility, including budgeting, billing, and reimbursement.
  9. Stay current with industry trends and best practices, implementing new initiatives and strategies to continuously improve the quality of care provided.
  10. Foster a positive and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors, promoting a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field: A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Must Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or A Related Field To Ensure They Have A Strong Foundation Of Knowledge And Skills In Healthcare Management.

  • State Licensure As A Nursing Home Administrator: In Order To Practice As A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Individuals Must Obtain State Licensure, Which Requires Passing A State-Approved Exam And Meeting Specific Education And Experience Requirements.

  • Previous Experience In Long-Term Care Management: A Strong Background In Long-Term Care Management Is Essential For A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, As They Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Day-To-Day Operations Of A Skilled Nursing Facility.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations: A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations Governing Long-Term Care Facilities. This Includes Knowledge Of Medicare And Medicaid Regulations, As Well As Compliance With Safety And Quality Standards.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Key Member Of The Healthcare Team, A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Must Possess Strong Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage Staff, Interact With Residents And Their Families, And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.
