Job Description

  1. Oversee daily operations of the healthcare facility to ensure efficient and effective functioning.
  2. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to long-term care.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high quality standards of care.
  4. Manage and supervise staff, providing support and guidance to promote a positive work environment.
  5. Monitor and evaluate resident care plans to ensure individualized and quality care for each resident.
  6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
  7. Manage budget and resources to optimize facility operations.
  8. Stay updated on industry developments and implement best practices to continuously improve facility operations.
  9. Maintain open communication with residents, their families, and other stakeholders to address any concerns or feedback.
  10. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure facility meets all safety and health standards.
  11. Handle any emergency situations and make critical decisions to ensure resident safety and well-being.
  12. Foster a culture of compassion, respect, and dignity for all residents, staff, and visitors.
  13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports as required by regulatory agencies.
  14. Keep abreast of changes in healthcare regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
  15. Represent the facility in a professional and positive manner in the community and at industry events.
  16. Act as a role model for staff, promoting a strong work ethic, professionalism, and dedication to quality care.
  17. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth to enhance performance in the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field: A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (Lnha) Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or A Related Field. This Education Provides Them With The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Manage A Nursing Home Facility.

  • State Licensure: All Lnha Job Candidates Must Have A Current And Valid State Licensure As A Nursing Home Administrator. This License Is Obtained By Passing A State-Approved Exam And Meeting All Other State-Specific Requirements.
