We are currently seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to join our team and oversee the operations of our skilled nursing facility.   1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing facility.
  2. Ensure the highest quality of care is provided to all residents in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  3. Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.
  4. Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, social workers, and support staff.
  5. Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote efficient and effective operations.
  6. Monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory agencies, including conducting audits and ensuring corrective action is taken when necessary.
  7. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to improve resident care and satisfaction.
  9. Manage the facility's budget and ensure financial goals are met.
  10. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the facility's operations.
  11. Handle any resident or staff concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Develop and maintain a positive and supportive work environment for all staff.
  13. Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training of new employees.
  14. Represent the facility in a professional manner at community events and meetings.
  15. Serve as a role model for ethical and compassionate leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree Is Typically Required For A Lnha Position. Degrees In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Manage A Nursing Home Facility.

  • State Licensure: All States Require Lnha's To Be Licensed In Order To Practice. Requirements For Licensure May Vary, But Typically Include Passing A State-Administered Exam And Meeting Educational And Experience Requirements.

  • Previous Management Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role Within A Healthcare Facility Is Highly Desirable For A Lnha Position. This Experience Demonstrates The Ability To Oversee Staff, Manage Budgets, And Ensure Compliance With Regulations And Policies.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations: Lnha's Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations Governing Long-Term Care Facilities. This Includes Knowledge Of Medicare And Medicaid Regulations, As Well As State-Specific Requirements For Licensing And Operation.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Lnha's Must Be Effective Communicators, Able To Interact With Residents, Families, Staff, And External Stakeholders Such As Government Agencies And Healthcare Providers. They Must Also Have Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Build And Maintain Positive Relationships With All Members Of The Facility's Team.
