- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed and that residents receive high-quality care.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and goals for the facility to ensure its success and growth.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff, including nurses, caregivers, and administrative personnel.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to the operation of a nursing home.
- Manage the budget and financial resources of the facility, ensuring efficient use of funds and maintaining profitability.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for each resident and ensure they are being properly implemented.
- Communicate regularly with residents and their families to address any concerns or needs and maintain positive relationships.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the facility and attract new residents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to the facility and its residents.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards and ensure that all staff members do the same.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field: A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator At Genesis Healthcare Must Possess A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
State Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid State License To Practice As A Nursing Home Administrator. This License Must Be In Good Standing And Meet All State Requirements.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Management: Genesis Healthcare Requires Candidates To Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Management, Preferably In A Long-Term Care Facility.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations: The Candidate Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Governing Long-Term Care Facilities. This Includes Knowledge Of Medicare And Medicaid Regulations, Osha Requirements, And State-Specific Regulations.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: A Successful Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Must Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Staff, Residents, And Families. This Includes The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Diverse Team, Handle Conflict Resolution, And Maintain Positive Relationships With Stakeholders.
