Laundry Aide

1. Perform laundry duties for all residents, ensuring that linens and clothing are clean, organized, and readily available.
2. Follow established procedures for sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry.
3. Maintain a clean and orderly laundry room and storage areas.
4. Report any maintenance or repair needs for laundry equipment to the appropriate personnel.
5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies and inform supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
6. Assist with distributing linens and clothing to residents as needed.
7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols while handling soiled and clean linens.
8. Communicate effectively with team members and other staff to ensure timely and efficient completion of laundry tasks.
9. Maintain confidentiality of resident information and respect their privacy while handling their laundry.
10. Attend required training and educational programs to stay updated on laundry procedures and safety protocols.
11. Follow all company policies and procedures and comply with state and federal regulations related to laundry services.
12. Foster a positive and welcoming environment for residents and their families.
13. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient laundry services.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
