Laundry Aide

1. Operate laundry equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and personal laundry according to established procedures and schedules.
3. Ensure all laundry is properly labeled and distributed to the appropriate residents.
4. Inspect linens for stains, tears, and other damages and report any issues to the supervisor.
5. Maintain inventory levels of all linens and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
6. Follow infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
7. Keep laundry area clean and organized at all times.
8. Assist with the distribution of clean linens to resident rooms as needed.
9. Handle resident laundry requests in a timely and professional manner.
10. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
11. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
12. Participate in ongoing training and education opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
13. Foster a positive and supportive work environment for residents, their families, and fellow staff members.
14. Provide exceptional customer service and address any resident concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
15. Maintain confidentiality of resident information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
