Job Description

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an Interim Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to join our team and help us continue our mission of providing high-quality care to our residents. As an Interim LNHA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility, while also working closely with our dedicated staff to ensure the well-being of our residents. If you have a current LNHA license and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in long-term care management, we want to hear from you.   1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the skilled nursing facility.
  2. Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  3. Collaborate with staff, residents, and families to provide high-quality care and services.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and overall quality of care.
  5. Monitor and maintain compliance with all licensing and accreditation requirements.
  6. Manage and allocate resources, including budget, staffing, and equipment, to meet the needs of the facility.
  7. Handle and resolve any issues or concerns raised by residents, families, or staff in a timely and effective manner.
  8. Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff and provide coaching and training as needed.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in long-term care management.
  10. Serve as a role model for staff, promoting a positive and compassionate work culture.
  11. Maintain accurate records and reports related to the facility's operations.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to enhance the overall well-being of residents.
  13. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including residents, families, staff, and upper management.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and confidentiality.
  15. Serve as an advocate for the facility and its residents in the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Lnha License: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Active License As A Nursing Home Administrator In The State Where The Facility Is Located. This Demonstrates That The Candidate Has The Required Knowledge And Experience To Lead A Nursing Home Facility.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience As A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. This Shows That The Candidate Has A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing A Nursing Home Facility.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Governing The Operation Of Nursing Home Facilities. This Ensures That The Facility Is In Compliance With All Regulatory Requirements And Maintains A High Standard Of Care For Residents.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Manage Staff, Budgets, And Other Operational Aspects Of The Facility. This Includes The Ability To Motivate And Develop A Team To Provide Quality Care To Residents.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Leader, The Interim Lnha Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Residents, Families, Staff, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Is Essential For Maintaining A Positive And Collaborative Work Environment And Ensuring The Well-Being Of Residents.
