Human Resources Specialist

Genesis HealthCare is searching for a highly organized, detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department. Responsibilities:

1. Maintain an organized filing system for HR-related paperwork and materials.
2. Develop and maintain processes and procedures for the HR department.
3. Provide administrative support to the HR department, such as scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and onboarding new employees.
4. Assist with recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
5. Maintain personnel files and other HR documents in accordance with legal requirements.
6. Collect and analyze data to produce reports on employee trends, turnover rates, and other metrics.
7. Coordinate employee activities, such as team building events and recognition programs.
8. Respond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
9. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
10. Conduct new employee orientations and training sessions.
