1. Provide compassionate care to elderly patients in accordance with Genesis HealthCare's mission.
2. Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Observe and report any changes in patients' physical or mental health to the nursing staff.
4. Administer medication and assist with medication management as directed by the nursing staff.
5. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
6. Assist with meal preparation and ensure patients are receiving proper nutrition.
7. Create a safe and comfortable environment for patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
8. Assist with mobility and transfer of patients as needed.
9. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and report any concerns or issues to the nursing staff.
10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans for patients.
11. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a positive and nurturing environment.
12. Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions to continually improve skills and knowledge.
13. Adhere to all healthcare and safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
14. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers.
15. Continuously strive to provide the highest level of care and service to our elderly patients.
