Director - Social Services

This individual will be responsible for providing emotional and case management support to residents and their families, as well as developing and executing social service delivery plans.The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Social Work or related field, along with a minimum of five years’ experience in the social services field. They must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with residents, family members, and other members of the healthcare team. Responsibilities for the Director of Social Services position include:

1. Develop and execute social service delivery plans for residents and their families.
2. Provide emotional and case management support to residents and their families.
3. Build relationships with residents, family members, and other members of the healthcare team.
4. Act with tact and diplomacy and possess strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
5. Monitor and evaluate social service programs and services.
6. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
8. Manage staff performance and provide guidance and mentorship.
9. Prepare and manage social service budgets.
10. Participate in committee meetings and other meetings as necessary.
