  1. Develop and implement an effective training program for nursing staff to ensure they meet and exceed the highest standards of patient care.
  2. Oversee the training and development of new nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Collaborate with other department heads to identify training needs and create customized training plans for individual staff members.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the progress and performance of nursing staff, providing constructive feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  5. Develop and maintain training materials and resources, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant to the healthcare industry.
  6. Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the training program.
  7. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to encourage continuous improvement and growth among nursing staff.
  8. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for new and existing nursing staff.
  9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to nursing staff training and development.
  10. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure a smooth transition and integration of newly trained staff into the healthcare facility.
  11. Act as a mentor and role model for nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion.
  12. Communicate effectively with nursing staff, management, and other stakeholders to provide updates on training and any changes in policies or procedures.
  13. Assist with recruitment and selection of nursing staff, ensuring they possess the necessary qualifications and skills to provide high-quality care.
  14. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide recommendations for promotions, salary adjustments, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of training activities and employee progress.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Active Rn License In The State Where The Facility Is Located.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Nursing Management Or Leadership Roles, Preferably In A Long-Term Care Or Skilled Nursing Facility Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Required, Master's Degree In Nursing (Msn) Preferred.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Long-Term Care And Skilled Nursing Facilities.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Develop A Team Of Nursing Staff.
