Director, Clinical Reimbursement

The Genesis HealthCare team is looking for an experienced, highly organized Director of Clinical Reimbursement to join our innovative team. The Director of Clinical Reimbursement will work to ensure that Genesis HealthCare's clinical reimbursement strategies are accurately implemented and effectively managed. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare reimbursement landscape, and a commitment to providing the highest quality clinical care for our patients.Minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in healthcare, finance, or a related field, at least 5 years of experience in healthcare reimbursement, and a strong working knowledge of reimbursement regulations. Industry certifications related to reimbursement or coding and a Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred. The successful candidate must have a passion for healthcare reimbursement, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategies to maximize clinical reimbursement for Genesis HealthCare.
2. Monitor reimbursement regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
3. Provide guidance and training to staff on reimbursement policies and procedures.
4. Develop processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement of claims.
5. Maintain relationships with insurance companies and other external partners to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement of claims.
6. Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management.
7. Monitor utilization and cost trends and develop strategies to optimize reimbursement.
8. Establish and maintain relationships with external partners in the healthcare reimbursement industry.
9. Oversee coding accuracy and ensure compliance with coding standards and regulations.
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
