- Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients/residents at Genesis HealthCare.
- Utilize skills and knowledge to perform duties of a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
- Interact with residents and their families in a respectful and empathetic manner.
- Assist with daily living activities, including but not limited to, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' condition to the appropriate medical staff.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients.
- Document all care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
- Uphold the standards and values of Genesis HealthCare and promote a positive work environment.
- Continuously develop and maintain knowledge and skills in the field of healthcare and nursing.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and foster a culture of respect and privacy.
- Attend training and educational programs as required by Genesis HealthCare.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Act as an advocate for patients' needs and communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and their families.
Completion Of A State-Approved Cna Training Program: A Cna At Genesis Healthcare Must Have Completed A State-Approved Training Program And Received A Certificate Of Completion.
Active Cna Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Active Cna Certification In The State Where They Will Be Working.
Knowledge Of Basic Nursing Procedures And Techniques: A Cna Must Possess A Strong Understanding Of Basic Nursing Procedures And Techniques, Including But Not Limited To Taking Vital Signs, Assisting With Activities Of Daily Living, And Infection Control.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Working In A Healthcare Setting Can Be Fast-Paced And Demanding, So A Cna Must Be Able To Thrive In This Type Of Environment.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Cna, One Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals, So Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
