  1. Provide direct patient care as assigned, including assisting with activities of daily living, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs.

  4. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to promote a safe and healthy environment for patients, residents, and staff.
  5. Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring proper procedures and protocols are followed.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  7. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and residents, actively listening to their needs and concerns.
  8. Report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare team members and follow up as needed.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain CNA certification and stay updated on best practices in patient care.
  10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, promoting a culture of compassion, excellence, and teamwork.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A State-Approved Cna Training Program: A Certified Nursing Assistant Must Have Completed An Accredited Training Program, Which Includes Coursework And Hands-On Clinical Experience.

  • Current Certification And Licensing: Cnas Must Be Certified And Licensed In The State Where They Are Employed. This Ensures That They Have Met The Necessary Education And Training Requirements To Provide Basic Nursing Care.

  • Knowledge Of Basic Nursing Skills And Procedures: Cnas Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Basic Nursing Skills, Such As Taking Vital Signs, Assisting With Daily Activities, And Administering Medication Under The Supervision Of A Registered Nurse.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As Cnas Work Closely With Patients And Their Families, It Is Essential To Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Compassionate And Effective Care.

  • Physical And Emotional Stamina: The Job Of A Cna Can Be Physically And Emotionally Demanding, Requiring The Ability To Lift And Move Patients, And Handle Stressful Situations With Empathy And Professionalism. Therefore, Cnas Must Be Physically Fit And Have The Emotional Resilience To Handle The Challenges Of The Job.
