
Assistant Business Office Manager

- Collaborate with the Business Office Manager to ensure smooth financial operations and accurate billing processes.
- Maintain and update resident financial records and ensure confidentiality and security of all financial information.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.
- Prepare and submit insurance claims and follow up on any denials or discrepancies.
- Communicate with residents and their families regarding financial matters and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with the review and management of accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate collections.
- Handle inquiries and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures.
- Train and supervise administrative staff on financial procedures and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in billing and reimbursement processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing and financial reporting.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with vendors, insurance companies, and other external partners.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Business Office Manager.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Accounting, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Or Long-Term Care Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Financial And Accounting Principles, Including Budgeting, Billing, And Collections.
Proficient In Microsoft Office And Accounting Software.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Team And Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information.
