Job Description

As an Assistant Business Office Manager at Genesis HealthCare, you will be responsible for providing financial oversight and support to the Business Office Department. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of healthcare experience, preferably in a business office setting, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a variety of stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide financial oversight and support to the Business Office Department.
  2. Maintain accurate and timely records related to the financial operations of the department.
  3. Monitor and analyze financial performance and identify areas of improvement.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  5. Prepare financial reports and present them to management.
  6. Analyze and resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to billing and other financial matters.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and customers.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
  9. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  10. Participate in staff meetings and other relevant activities.
