We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Assistant Business Office Manager to join our team at Genesis HealthCare. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of our business office. You will be an integral part of our team, working collaboratively to manage our patient accounts and financial reporting.To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a business office setting, outstanding organizational and communication skills, and a meticulous attention to detail. You should also be highly proficient in accounting software and have a demonstrated ability to work under pressure. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement efficient business office operations and procedures.
  2. Monitor patient accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments.
  3. Manage billing activities, including generating and sending invoices and collecting payments.
  4. Reconcile financial statements and accounts.
  5. Perform financial reporting and analysis.
  6. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  7. Ensure compliance with related laws and regulations.
  8. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and disputes.
  9. Train and supervise business office personnel.
  10. Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
