  1. Lead and oversee the development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies for General Motors, including software development, build automation, and integration processes.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in build and integration strategies.
  3. Establish and maintain a strong vision and strategy for the Build & Integration department in alignment with the overall goals and objectives of General Motors.
  4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  5. Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve build and integration processes and make recommendations for implementation.
  6. Develop and maintain standards and best practices for software development, build automation, and integration.
  7. Manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery within budget and scope.
  8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing updates and reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  9. Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to build and integration, taking proactive measures to prevent delays and disruptions.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, incorporating new ideas and approaches into the Build & Integration team's work.
  11. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Build And Integration: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience Working In The Field Of Build And Integration, With A Strong Understanding Of Software Development Processes And Tools.

  • Expertise In Automation And Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Ci/Cd): A Technical Fellow In Build & Integration Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Ci/Cd Principles And Be Able To Design And Implement Efficient And Scalable Automation Processes For Software Builds And Deployments.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Software Development Lifecycle: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Software Development Lifecycle, From Requirements Gathering To Deployment, And Be Able To Effectively Integrate Build And Integration Processes Into Each Stage.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Technical Fellow, This Role Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Oversee A Team Of Build And Integration Engineers. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Mentoring A Team To Deliver High-Quality Results.

  • Innovative And Strategic Thinking: General Motors Is A Leader In The Automotive Industry And Requires Someone Who Can Think Outside The Box And Drive Innovation In Build And Integration Processes.
