  1. Develop and maintain reliable and efficient software systems for General Motors.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  3. Utilize a variety of programming languages and tools to enhance and improve software performance.
  4. Implement and improve automation processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems in a timely manner.
  6. Monitor and analyze system performance to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
  7. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team meetings to ensure high-quality and scalable solutions.
  8. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software development and apply them to improve our systems.
  9. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and standards for software engineering.
  10. Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their technical skills and promote a culture of continuous learning.
  11. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  12. Continuously strive to improve the reliability and performance of our software systems through testing, monitoring, and optimization.
  13. Comply with company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
  14. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates, report issues, and propose solutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Software Development, With A Focus On Site Reliability Engineering (Sre).

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, And/Or Go, As Well As Experience With Infrastructure Automation Tools Such As Ansible, Chef, Or Puppet.

  • Strong Understanding Of Cloud Computing Technologies, Including Experience With Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Experience In Troubleshooting Complex Systems And Production Issues.
