- Develop and implement strategies for acquiring and deploying software assets across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and track usage to optimize costs.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify software needs and make recommendations for optimal solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all software assets, including licenses, agreements, and usage.
- Monitor and enforce software usage policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate any potential risks.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure all software assets are properly licensed and utilized.
- Analyze software usage data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for the timely deployment and retirement of software assets.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in software asset management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Provide training and support to users on software asset management policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure understanding and alignment on software asset management initiatives.
- Manage the software asset budget and provide regular reports to senior management on costs, utilization, and compliance.
- Identify and escalate any potential risks or issues related to software asset management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve software asset management processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Software Asset Management, Preferably In The Automotive Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Software Licensing Agreements And Compliance Requirements.
Experience With Software Asset Management Tools And Processes, Such As Flexnet Or Snow Inventory.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities And Optimize Software Usage Across The Organization.
