- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the automotive industry to effectively support and service GM vehicles in the region.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement service strategies that meet customer needs and increase customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical support to dealerships and customers in the region to troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues.
- Develop and deliver training programs for dealership technicians to ensure proper understanding and application of new technologies and products.
- Conduct regular site visits to dealerships to assess service processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and proactively address potential service issues.
- Stay current on local regulations and standards related to automotive engineering to ensure compliance.
- Serve as a liaison between dealerships, customers, and GM headquarters to communicate any important technical information or updates.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represent GM at industry events and conferences to promote the company's engineering capabilities and services.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and team members to develop their skills and expertise.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new engineering projects and initiatives in the region.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality parts and materials are used in service and repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing job duties.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of service activities and reports.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Automotive Service Or Engineering
Proficient In Technical Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving
Strong Knowledge Of Vehicle Systems And Components, Particularly In Gm Models
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment.
