  1. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the automotive industry to effectively support and service GM vehicles in the region.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement service strategies that meet customer needs and increase customer satisfaction.
  3. Provide technical support to dealerships and customers in the region to troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues.
  4. Develop and deliver training programs for dealership technicians to ensure proper understanding and application of new technologies and products.
  5. Conduct regular site visits to dealerships to assess service processes and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and proactively address potential service issues.
  7. Stay current on local regulations and standards related to automotive engineering to ensure compliance.
  8. Serve as a liaison between dealerships, customers, and GM headquarters to communicate any important technical information or updates.
  9. Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Represent GM at industry events and conferences to promote the company's engineering capabilities and services.
  11. Mentor and coach junior engineers and team members to develop their skills and expertise.
  12. Participate in the development and implementation of new engineering projects and initiatives in the region.
  13. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality parts and materials are used in service and repairs.
  14. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing job duties.
  15. Maintain accurate records and documentation of service activities and reports.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Automotive Service Or Engineering

  • Proficient In Technical Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving

  • Strong Knowledge Of Vehicle Systems And Components, Particularly In Gm Models

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment.
