- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with company objectives and drive positive employee engagement.
- Serve as a leader and mentor to HR and labor relations teams, providing guidance and support in resolving employee relations issues.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with employees, labor unions, and other stakeholders.
- Stay informed on current labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and proactively identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and address any potential labor or HR challenges that may impact business success.
- Develop and implement effective labor relations strategies and tactics, including collective bargaining negotiations and dispute resolution.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that values diversity and promotes employee well-being.
- Conduct regular assessments of HR and labor relations processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Create and maintain HR metrics and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and management, advocating for both parties and promoting open communication and transparency.
- Lead and participate in various HR and labor relations projects and initiatives, providing expertise and guidance to ensure successful outcomes.
- Continuously evaluate and update HR policies and practices to align with company values and goals.
- Collaborate with other regional HR/LR site leads to share best practices and ensure consistency across the organization.
- Represent the company in labor relations matters and maintain positive relationships with external organizations and stakeholders.
- Serve as a role model for ethical behavior and promote a culture of integrity and accountability within the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Human Resources And Labor Relations, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Automotive Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws, Labor Regulations, And Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Influence Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
Proven Leadership Experience, With The Ability To Manage And Develop A Team Of Hr And Lr Professionals, While Also Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams To Drive Business Results.
