Job Description

Collaborate with GM teams to understand user requirements for product features. This role will be focused on the immediate need to develop connectivity solutions for the ePowered business line. ePowered differentiates the EV hardware components business by expanding to a wholistic electrification ecosystem approach with connectivity solutions, digital experiences, and intelligent charging solutions. Capture regulatory & validation requirements for compliance needs and support cross functional collaboration for validation: Cybersecurity, EMC, Environmental etc. Contribute towards innovative product ideas to protect GM Intellectual Property (IP) rights. Oversee and support DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis) and DRBTR (Design Reviews Based on Test Results). Continue to support Design/Release teams for production.

Job Qualifications

  • 5 years of industry experience

  • Master’s Degree in Electrical engineering preferred

  • Experience with Telematics connectivity technologies (cellular / short range)

  • EV vehicle technologies and data telemetry expertise

  • Familiarity with IBM RTC, E-Squared, and SAP software tools a plus
