- Perform pipefitting tasks and repairs on various mechanical systems and equipment within the facility.
- Utilize technical knowledge and experience to troubleshoot and identify issues with piping systems.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to prioritize and complete projects and tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed, including maintenance logs and repair reports.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on piping systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve work processes.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of necessary tools and equipment needed for pipefitting tasks.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and work standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to report progress, issues, and concerns.
- Train and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge in pipefitting.
- Participate in regular safety and quality training sessions to stay current with company standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes related to pipefitting and mechanical work.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and efficiency in work processes.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Completion Of An Accredited Apprenticeship Program In Pipefitting Or A Related Field.
Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Technical Drawings And Blueprints.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Mechanical Journeyperson In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.
Knowledge Of Various Piping Materials And Their Applications, Including Stainless Steel, Copper, And Pvc.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Troubleshoot And Repair Mechanical Systems.
