
Manufacturing Group Leader - Production

- Oversee and coordinate production activities in the manufacturing facility to ensure timely and efficient production of vehicles.
- Monitor and maintain production schedules, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Train, mentor, and motivate production team members to maintain a high level of productivity and quality.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with other team leaders and departments to resolve any production issues and improve processes.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain management to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Communicate with upper management regarding production updates, challenges, and achievements.
- Continuously assess and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology and incorporate them into production processes as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
Experience In Manufacturing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Manufacturing Environment, Preferably In The Automotive Industry. They Should Have A Good Understanding Of Production Processes And Be Able To Troubleshoot Issues That May Arise.
Leadership Skills: A Manufacturing Group Leader Should Have Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Production Workers. They Should Have Experience In Training And Coaching Team Members To Improve Productivity And Quality Standards.
Knowledge Of Quality Standards: General Motors Has Strict Quality Standards That Must Be Adhered To In Order To Produce High-Quality Vehicles. The Group Leader Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of These Standards And Be Able To Implement Them In The Production Process.
Communication Skills: The Group Leader Will Be Responsible For Communicating Production Goals, Targets, And Expectations To Their Team. They Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Relay Information And Provide Feedback To Team Members.
Problem Solving Abilities: In A Fast-Paced Manufacturing Environment, Problems Can Arise That Need To Be Addressed Quickly And Efficiently. The Group Leader Should Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Identify Issues And Implement Solutions To Keep The Production Process Running Smoothly.
