- Design and develop innovative solutions using MuleSoft technology to support General Motors' mission to revolutionize the automotive industry.
- Lead the development of the MuleSoft platform, ensuring high quality and efficient code is produced.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide team members in the development of their technical skills and provide technical leadership in all aspects of the project.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed for coding, testing, and deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in MuleSoft to continuously improve the platform and recommend new solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the MuleSoft platform.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects and provide regular updates on project status.
- Participate in planning and estimation sessions to define project scope and timelines.
- Comply with all security, confidentiality, and data privacy policies and procedures to protect General Motors' proprietary and sensitive information.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to integrate their systems with the MuleSoft platform.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the development team.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the MuleSoft platform and make recommendations for enhancements and optimizations.
- Embody General Motors' values and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
Extensive Experience With Mulesoft: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Mulesoft And Its Various Components, Including Anypoint Studio, Api Manager, And Cloudhub. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Mulesoft Integrations.
Strong Technical Background: The Lead Software Engineer Should Have A Strong Background In Software Engineering, With A Deep Understanding Of Programming Languages Such As Java, Javascript, And Python. They Should Also Have Experience With Modern Software Development Methodologies And Tools.
Leadership Skills: As A Lead Software Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Software Engineers. Therefore, They Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Motivate And Guide Team Members Towards Achieving Project Goals.
