Sr. Manager, Supplier Management & Impact

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to optimize supplier performance and meet General Mills’ high standards for quality, safety, and sustainability.
2. Negotiate supplier contracts and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
3. Leverage data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for continuous supplier performance improvement.
4. Monitor industry trends and develop plans to ensure General Mills’ suppliers are keeping up with the latest developments.
5. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
6. Evaluate supplier performance and identify potential risks.
7. Participate in supplier selection and onboarding processes.
8. Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to suppliers on areas for improvement.
9. Work to ensure a positive impact on the environment and the communities in which we operate.
10. Utilize strategic planning and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to complex supplier related problems.
