Job Description

General Electric is looking for an experienced and motivated Wind Hub Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting wind turbine hubs. Our ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. If you are passionate about renewable energy and have the qualifications listed below, we want to hear from you.Required Qualifications:* 5+ years of experience as a Wind Hub Technician or in a related field* Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of turbine hubs* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and component operation* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints* Excellent communication and customer service skills* Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel

Responsibilities:

  1. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot wind turbine hubs.
  2. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  3. Provide customer service to wind turbine customers.
  4. Maintain and repair electrical systems and components.
  5. Travel to customer sites to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
  6. Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues that arise with wind turbine hubs.
  7. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  8. Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies.
  10. Comply with all applicable regulations and laws.
