They should be able to think strategically about security operations, while also executing tactical plans on the ground.The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; 5+ years of experience in cyber security engineering, preferably within a large organization; experience with security risk management and compliance; experience working with cloud-based security solutions; and a strong understanding of security protocols, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and identity/access management.If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, we look forward to receiving your application!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement best-in-class security practices tailored to meet the needs of a global organization.
- Think strategically about security operations and execute tactical plans.
- Monitor and maintain security systems, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and identity/access management.
- Manage security risk and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and develop solutions to prevent and mitigate them.
- Design and deploy cloud-based security solutions.
- Develop and maintain security policies, processes, and procedures.
- Perform security audits and penetration tests.
- Investigate security incidents and respond accordingly.
- Train and educate staff on security policies and procedures.
