Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Staff UX Interaction Designer to join our dynamic team at GE Healthcare. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise in user experience design to shape the future of healthcare technology.   1. Lead and drive the user experience design process for our healthcare technology products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and researchers to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  3. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  4. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
  5. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers to ensure design consistency and quality.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design to continuously improve our products.
  7. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into user-centered design solutions.
  8. Present design concepts and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Collaborate with development teams to ensure design specifications are implemented accurately.
  10. Advocate for the user and champion user-centered design principles throughout the organization.
  11. Continuously gather feedback and iterate on designs to improve the overall user experience.
  12. Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
  13. Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively to team members and stakeholders.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on UX design and provide guidance to other teams within the organization.
  15. Keep track of project progress and report updates to management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Ux Interaction Design, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Delivering Complex Ux Design Projects From Concept To Launch.

  • Proficiency With Design Tools Such As Sketch, Invision, And Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Strong Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles, Usability Testing, And Information Architecture.
