- Develop and implement Lean principles and strategies to drive continuous improvement and efficiency across the organization.
- Lead and manage a team of Lean practitioners to ensure successful implementation of Lean methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and develop action plans to address them.
- Train and coach employees at all levels on Lean principles and tools to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor and track progress of Lean initiatives, identifying areas of success and areas for improvement.
- Act as a change agent, promoting and driving a Lean mindset and culture throughout the organization.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify process inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Communicate with senior leadership to provide updates on Lean initiatives, progress, and results.
- Stay current on industry best practices and advancements in Lean principles to continuously improve processes and methodologies within the organization.
- Mentor and develop team members to grow their skills and knowledge in Lean methodologies.
- Drive a culture of safety and compliance in all Lean initiatives and processes.
- Participate in strategic planning and goal setting to align Lean initiatives with business objectives.
- Identify and resolve any barriers or challenges that may arise during Lean implementation.
- Serve as a role model for the organization by embodying the values and principles of Lean in all actions and decisions.
Extensive Lean Experience: The Senior Lean Leader At General Electric Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Implementing Lean Methodologies In A Large Organization. This Should Include Experience In Leading Lean Projects, Coaching And Mentoring Lean Teams, And Driving Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Leader, The Candidate Should Possess Exceptional Leadership Skills To Effectively Guide And Motivate Teams In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Make Tough Decisions, And Communicate Effectively With All Levels Of The Organization.
Lean Six Sigma Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Hold A Lean Six Sigma Certification, Preferably At The Master Black Belt Level. This Will Demonstrate A Deep Understanding Of Lean Principles And The Ability To Lead Complex Process Improvement Projects.
Strategic Thinking: The Senior Lean Leader Should Have A Strategic Mindset And The Ability To Develop And Execute Lean Strategies That Align With The Company's Goals And Objectives. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Data, Identify Areas For Improvement, And Develop Action Plans To Drive Continuous Improvement.
Change Management Expertise: General Electric Is A Large And Complex Organization, And Implementing Lean Methodologies Can Bring About Significant Changes. The Senior Lean Leader Should Have A Proven Track Record In Change Management, Including The Ability To Anticipate And Address Resistance To Change And Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders To Gain Buy-In For Lean Initiatives.
